The use of the solar panels will considerably reduce the annual electricity costs for the school and thereby free funds to strengthen the schools educational and rehabilitation programs. According to the project, the school will be able to add new classes for six to seven new students, mainly from H2 area.

Also, the project will raise awareness on environmentally friendly energy systems, enabling the school to be a role model for the local community.

Mohammad Bin Rashed Al-Maktoom is a school for children with mental disabilities.
