TIPH supports educational project for Palestinian children in Hebron

Saturday 16 January 2010, was the first day of a ten day long educational camp for Palestinian children in Hebron supported by Temporary International Presence in Hebron.

Saturday 16 January 2010, was the first day of a ten day long educational camp for Palestinian children in Hebron supported by Temporary International Presence in Hebron. The camp which is organised during the winter holidays is carried out in cooperation with the local Palestinian NGO, Partners for Sustainable Development.

 

A total number of 60 children, female and male from H1 and H2 area of Hebron, will receive training in IT, English language, volunteerism and communication skills. They will also take part in a full day recreational trip to Jericho.

 

       One of the objects of the project is to bring children from H1 and H2 together to make them learn about each other’s experiences and learn new things together, says Katarina Carlberg, Community Relation Officer.
