On May 4, TIPH delivered and installed two goals and a number of footballs to the students of Al-Mutanabi boys’ school. The football equipment is part of a project aiming at providing students with the opportunity to exercise and play in a safe environment.

– Promoting stability and well-being of children in H2 is part of TIPH’s mandate, and we hope that through this project the students will have a safe place to play football, says TIPH Head of Mission Geir Holmenes.

Al-Mutanabi is a boys’ school with approximately 230 students located in one of the most deprived areas in Hebron. In December 2010 TIPH has partly supported the school by purchasing equipment for and building an outdoor playground for the students.
