TIPH signs new project agreements on road safety and swimming training

On 25 June 2015, TIPH signed agreements for two new projects taking place in 2015.

On 25 June 2015, TIPH signed agreements for two new projects taking place in 2015. Both projects are under auspice of Hebron Municipality and Mahmoud Abu Sbeih, Head of Youth and Culture Department, met with Roman Hunger, Head of Research, Analysis and Information Division at TIPH, this morning to sign the agreements.

The first project is carried out by the Tareq Bin Ziad Community Center who will organise a swimming course for 40 children from H2. The training is aiming at giving the children the opportunity of training in a safe environment and will run from 10 July to 25 august 2015.

The second programme is organised by the Children Happiness Center who will train a team for road safety in H1 and H2 schools. The goals of the project are to raise the awareness concerning road safety with teachers and students and through this also reduce the number of injuries caused by traffic accidents. The project will train 150 people and the project will run from 1 September to 24 December 2015.
