As a token of appreciation of the work the TIPH is doing in Hebron, Palestinian painter Yousef Katalo recently presented the mission with a piece of his art.

The painting illustrates, in a symbolic way, the dedication of the TIPH through its mandate striving to improve the living conditions for the Hebronites.

— Art is my contribution in the struggle for peace, and through this painting I want to express my appreciation of the efforts the TIPH is doing, Yousef Katalo said.

TIPH Head of Mission Britt T. B. Brestrup expressed her gratitude when receiving the painting.

— I have been an admirer of Mr Katalo’s work for a long time, and we are delighted to have one of his paintings in our base. Art is an excellent way of conveying messages of peace and hope, and can help build bridges, she said.
