On 8 April, the Hebron Rehabilitation Committee (HRC) organised a cleaning day in the Old City of Hebron.

The cleaning day is part of a TIPH-funded project aiming at promoting cultural diversity, reinforce values that emphasise freedom, democracy and non-violence through various activities and workshops. During the day, TIPH members joined some 25 volunteers from Hebron Polytechnic University in the efforts of cleaning the neighbourhood in order to raise awareness among the local community on the importance of maintaining a clean environment and highlight the relation between cleanliness and healthy living conditions.

TIPH regularly invites local organisations, based and operating in the city of Hebron, to submit concept papers for community-related projects. The current application round ends on 1 May 2015. Read more here
