TIPH distributing First Aid equipment to more than 100 women from H2

TIPH, in a cross-divisional effort to establish good relations with the local community, has during the past months given medical lectures and distributed First Aid equipment to approximately 100 women, most of them from H2. Lectures have been given to women from the Old City, Tel Rumeida, Tareq bin Ziyad and H1. The subjects of the lectures have been decided through consultations with, among others, the Aman Councelling Centre for Women. This organisations is currently supported by the TIPH Community Relations Division.

All lectures have been conducted by TIPH medical personnel, both a medical doctor and several nurses. In this last round, the lectures were focusing on First Aid and accidents at home, and each participant received a First Aid kit.

— Having some knowledge about how to act in urgent or stressful situations makes you feel a bit more safe and secure. This feeling is what we hope to have conveyed to the addressed women in Hebron, says TIPH Head of Misson Christine Fossen.
