As part of its Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr projects, TIPH donated 30,000 Shekel to the local community. On 15 July 2015 TIPH together with the Soup Kitchen handed out 250 Eid gifts containing five kilo of rice and three litres of olive oil in Jabal Jawhar, Tariq bin Ziad and the Old City.

– It was such a pleasure to be part of this donation project. The people in the Old Souq and in Jabal Jawhar have important needs and it is important for TIPH to assist them, said TIPH Community Relations Officer Safia El Abassi.

On 16 July TIPH handed out 1500 Iftar boxes in Jabal Jawhar and the Old City with the help of Al Mahawer Association and the Food Bank.

– This is a great opportunity for us to meet and celebrate Ramadan and Eid with the local community, said TIPH Head of Mission Geir Holmenes.
