Two hundred young Hebronites participated  in a photo competition arranged by the TIPH, Hebron—France Association for Cultural Exchange, Partners for Sustainable Development, Al-Nukhba Model School and Hebron Rehabilation Committee. On Thursday evening,  the winners were presented at a ceremony held at the Old City Museum.

In June disposable cameras were handed out to children in the age  12—15 years.  The theme of the competition was ”My day in Hebron”.

— I am impressed by the quality of the pictures. They have given me a new view of how young people are experiencing Hebron.

— It has not been an easy job to select the winners – because in one way you are all winners, you have all showed us different views of your hometown, says TIPH Head of Mission, Einar Johnsen.

Three winners were awarded digital cameras and five were given photo albums. The 50 best pictures will be on display at the Old City Museum for the ten coming days.
