Temporary International Presence in Hebron, participated in the closing ceremony of a vocational project for 60 women from H2 who took part in a TIPH financed Economic and Social Empowerment Project in the Old City of Hebron.

Participants have been trained in different handicrafts, and have been offered lectures on time management and product marketing. The aim was to provide the group of women with basic vocational skills and thereby increase their possibilities to self-sufficiency.

The project was implemented by Al-Awda Society for Revival of Palestinian Heritage.

– I congratulate the participants in this project, and I congratulate al-Awda, for running it. TIPH believes that Hebron will prosper by involving women in its economic life. That’s why we support programs related to that. The project we are celebrating today is only a small step. But if you put one foot in front of the other you will move forward, says Head of Mission.
