TIPH attends closing ceremony of Chess Project in Hebron

September 14, 2013, Temporary International Presence in Hebron, participated in the closing ceremony of the first stage of the “Chess for all”-project in al-sa’ad al-toufoule (Happy childhood) centre, Hebron.

September 14, 2013, Temporary International Presence in Hebron, participated in the closing ceremony of the first stage of the “Chess for all”-project in al-sa’ad al-toufoule (Happy childhood) centre, Hebron.

The most successful 10 boys and girls out of 125 participants under the age of 18, , were chosen and rewarded with a prize and will compete on the next level of the tournament.

TIPH has supported this 3-months project together with the Hebron Chess committee in order to promote the chess culture in Hebron. The Hebron Municipality and the Hebron Directorate of Education also supported the project.
