This week, Al-Quds Open University in Hebron celebrates its 20th anniversary, and TIPH was invited to take part in the opening ceremony, attended by hundreds of dignitaries, students and guests.

The anniversary is celebrated with an exhibition on the Palestinian national heritage, its traditions, folklore and handicraft. The visitors can familiarise themselves with the works of Palestine artisans and artists, and with contemporary and traditional literature from Palestine.

The TIPH has been involved in the financing of the exhibition, as part of its Community Relations activities, and the opening ceremony was attended by several TIPH representatives, among them TIPH Head of Mission, Einar Johnsen.

— I am impressed by this exhibition. It is really interesting and well set up, and I deeply sympathise with the efforts of the al-Quds Open University, in giving higher education to young Palestinians.

The exhibition will be open until 9th of March.
