TIPH and the Palestinian Red Crescent Society conduct a first aid training program

Temporary International Presence in Hebron, in partnership with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, funded a First Aid training program.

Temporary International Presence in Hebron, in partnership with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, funded a First Aid training program.

 

In total 50 youths, volunteers, were trained, all of them living in Wadi al-Hussein, in the H2 area. More than half of the participants were female. The participants were trained in first aid and learned how to prepare for safe evacuation of injured.

 

On Wednesday 25 November 2009, TIPH participated in the closing ceremony of the program, where the participants were awarded their diploma and a first aid medical kit. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society plans to integrate half of the trainees as volunteers in the organisation.
