Children with tickets to the theatreHebron 08.12.2003: TIPH supports puppet theatre shows in the H2 area of Hebron and in the border area to H2. The play is called Butto in Hebron and is performed by an actor from Ramallah, Nidal al-Khatib. The play was already performed 70 times in 1998 and dozens of times during this summer in different schools. During November the play has been performed at various schools twice a week.

The show combines information about the work of TIPH with music and entertainment. The story is about Butto and his family who live in Hebron and it describes the difficult situation they and other residents of Hebron have to go through. One day he meets Trine, a TIPH member from Denmark, a country far away, who tries to help him. As the story proceeds the two of them develop a friendship.

The play has been warmly welcomed by the children of Hebron and TIPH hopes to initiate similar projects in the future.
