Norwegian Parliamentarians in Hebron

As part of a five day long tour in the Middle East, the Norwegian Parliament’s Committee for Foreign Affairs and Defence visited Hebron and the TIPH.

As part of a five day long tour in the Middle East, the Norwegian Parliament’s Committee for Foreign Affairs and Defence visited Hebron and the TIPH.

The group, among them Ine Marie Eriksen Søreide, Conservative Party and Chair of the Parliamentary Committee, Svein Roald Hansen, Labour Party and First Vice Chair, as well as Dagfinn Høybråten, Leader of the Christian Democratic Party, was offered a briefing and a downtown tour to get an update on the current situation in the city and the latest developments.

The TIPH also hosted a lunch for the Parliamentarians in the TIPH base.

— We appreciate the interest in Hebron and our mission among Norwegian politicians and we are very happy to host these kinds of visits, says TIPH Head of Mission Einar Johnsen.
