New Head of Mission for TIPH

There will be a change of Command at TIPH on Friday 28th July. Mr. Arnstein Overkil shall be leaving the TIPH Mission at the end on July, having served 12 months in this position, which has been his fourth term as Head of Mission for TIPH. Mr. Arne Huuse, also from Norway, will take over the position as Head of the TIPH Mission, which will be his third term at TIPH. He served as HoM in 1998/1999 and in year 2000. (Hebron 29.07.2006)

Hebron 29.07.2006: There will be a change of Command at TIPH on Friday 28th July. Mr. Arnstein Overkil shall be leaving the TIPH Mission at the end on July, having served 12 months in this position, which has been his fourth term as Head of Mission for TIPH. Mr. Arne Huuse, also from Norway, will take over the position as Head of the TIPH Mission, which will be his third term at TIPH. He served as HoM in 1998/1999 and in year 2000.

Mr. Huuse has – among other tasks – been the Director for the National Criminal Investigation Service from 1994 till 2005. Since then he has filled the position as a Chief of Police in the National Police Directorate, International Section.

Mr. Huuse was Head of the Olympic Police Force during the Winter Olympic Games at Lillehammer in 1994 and headed the security planning group for these games from 1991. Mr. Huuse is currently an advisor on security issues at major international event, UNICRI.
