The three weeks summer camp called ”You are not alone” was organised by Al-Ihsan Charitable Society and supported by the TIPH. The summer camp for young Palestinian kids and children with special needs started in the beginning of July.

— The idea of the project came due to the increased number of children with special needs. This is the first step towards normalising their lives, social worker at Al-Ihsan Charitable Society Sahar Maswadeh says.

During the summer weeks, the children could enjoy educational activities, sports and music, and play together in a safe environment.

— The TIPH has decided to support this project because it contributes to giving Palestinians a more normalised life. Disabled children are a part of Hebron’s community, and it is important that they get the opportunity to participate in organised summer activities together with other children, TIPH Community Relations Officer Nicola Mohler says.
