On Thursday, TIPH held a farewell ceremony at the headquarters, where the Head of Mission, Einar Johnsen, awarded service medals to the 17 colleagues who leave the Mission.

Some of the colleagues leaving have been serving with the TIPH for a long time, as TIPH Project Manager Khaled Abdel-Fadeel, who leaves after 21 months in Hebron, or Communications Officer Huseyin Ergin, who leaves after 18.

— We represent six different countries, and we have all different professional backgrounds. But when we are here – we are all members of one team. One family. During our time together we develop strong personal and professional ties. It is sad to see friends and colleagues leave, but it is great to remember the work we have done, said Head of Mission, Einar Johnsen, during the medal ceremony

Of the outgoing TIPH member five are Norwegian, five Italian, three Turkish, two Swiss, one Danish and one Swedish.
