On 4 October TIPH is honoured to invite the public and media to attend the opening ceremony ofHebron through the eyes of children.

Hebron through the eyes of childrenis a TIPH project where 35 children living in some of the tensest and exposed areas in city of Hebron received disposable cameras and were asked to document their own reality during two months.

– This project gives us a unique opportunity to see what the children are seeing, and what they are experience every day in Hebron, especially children living in H2. Children are an important part of society and it is crucial that we see and listen to them, says TIPH Deputy Head of Mission Stefano Nencioni.

As part of the project a workshop was carried out were the children together with a facilitator from TIPH discussed their photographs and approach to the project, had talks about their lives and what they see for themselves in the future alongside getting concrete tips and feedback on photography and how the camera can be used as a tool for them to express themselves creatively.

The opening ceremony will take place 15:30 on 4 October at Masarat Al-Zaiton in the Old City. The exhibition will be open on 4 October From 15:00 to 19:00 and on 5 October from 10:00 to 15:00.
