TIPH commemorated the International Women’s Day on 8 March by hosting a temporary exhibition of paintings by local Palestinian women. These were realised as part of a TIPH-funded project by Hebron artist Yusuf Katalo.

TIPH seeks to assist in efforts to promote the well-being of Hebron’s Palestinian population. Through its Community Relations section, it therefore supports projects implemented by local non-profit organisations, when these correspond to the Mission’s mandate and strategic priorities. Promoting the rights, development and welfare of Palestinian women and girls is among such priorities. The paintings on display demonstrated that art had provided an adequate and creative medium of expression for the beneficiaries of the project.
