Incoming TIPH observers visited counterparts

To give incoming TIPH observers a deeper understanding of how the Missions’ counterparts in Hebron work, 28 new members visited the Palestinian Area Commander Amin Fawalha and the Governor Kamil Humeid in their respective offices on the 3 September 2014. Earlier this week, the incoming observers paid a visit to the Israeli District Civil Liasion Office (DCL) in Hebron to be briefed about the office’ duties and responsibilities.

To give incoming TIPH observers a deeper understanding of how the Missions’ counterparts in Hebron work, 28 new members visited the Palestinian Area Commander Amin Fawalha and the Governor Kamil Humeid in their respective offices on the 3 September 2014. The visits are part of TIPH’s long-established introduction program preparing new members for their main task, to observe and report on breaches against the agreements on Hebron, human rights and International humanitarian law.
