More than 700 children with their parents came to celebrate the annual TIPH Neighbourhood Day at the missions’ base in Dahiyyet Al-Rame, Hebron.
— The TIPH base has been in this neighbourhood for the past two and a half years, and we are very happy to have a good relationship with you, the Head of Mission Britt T.B. Brestrup said in her welcome speech.
This year’s event included a wrestling performance by Tareq Ben Ziad Sports Club, debka by Al-Awda Society, a theatre performance by Dream Society, a comedy show by Abdel Fatah Al-Isa, face painting, drawing and a clown performance by Palestinian Red Crescent Society.
— This is the third time we arrange the Neighbourhood Day. For us it is an excellent opportunity to get to know our neighbours better through spending time and having fun together, the TIPH Community Relations Officer Nicola Mohler says.
This Neighbourhood Day was arranged in cooperation with several local Palestinian organizations and with the support of 35 volunteers from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.
