For the fifth year in a row, the Temporary International Presence in Hebron (TIPH) supported the local festivities in the Old City, on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.

The aim of the festival, which was organised in cooperation with 15 local organisations, was to revive the Old City, create a joyful atmosphere and attract visitors from other parts of Hebron.

— The TIPH is happy to join the local organisations in their efforts to give Palestinian children in Hebron the opportunity to enjoy Eid Al-Fitr, says Kathrine Fauske, Deputy Head of Research, Analysis and Information Division.

More than 800 children enjoyed activities like Dabka (traditional dance), theater performances, movie shows and face painting, and orchestras were filling the ancient city with music.
