With a tough game at Hussein Stadium in Hebron, the National Entity for supporting the Old City (NESOC) kicked off its new Football Club. A team of youth from the Old City met the players of Mahakim Al-Khalil, winning 4-1.

The objective of the Football Club is to give young people in the Old City an opportunity to constructive pastime activities.

-The situation in the Old City is difficult, and there is not much for the youth to do. The idea is to channel their energy through sports rather than turning to drugs and criminality. Our football players set a good example for their younger friends, says Fawwaz Abu Khalaf, one of the coaches for the NESOC team.

By supporting the Football Club project the TIPH aims at creating a positive and durable environment for the Old City youth.
