Temporary International Presence in the City of Hebron

TIPH is a civilian observer mission in the West Bank city of Hebron. TIPH reports on breaches of the agreements on Hebron and human rights law, and presents its findings to the member countries and to the Palestinian and Israeli authorities.

 
 

Right to Compensation

This is a rule that is decided by the IDF high command. Claims can be submitted to the DCL where there is a special officer for claims who is responsible for receiving claims from the public.

The only exception from compensation is if there is a written order from the IDF commander stating that the damage was caused as a result of military action that was absolutely necessary. Destroying items while searching a house can generally never be classified as military actions.

You must specify the circumstances under which the damage was caused, the time of the damage and the value of the destroyed property.
