With a grand ceremony, held at the Governor’s Office in Hebron on 2 October 2014, the women’s organisation Aman Society completed its six month Mental Health lecture-programme.

Among the participants at the ceremony were Hebron’s Governor Kamil Humeid and around 120 women from H1 and H2 who had followed the lectures and courses.

Apart from speeches from invited guests, Palestinian girls performed a traditional dance show.

The Mental Health lecture-programme has covered a wide range of important and crucial health- and societal issues, such as post-traumatic stress syndrome, domestic violence, early marriage and other subjects.

TIPH sponsored the programme and the TIPH Medical Office was involved, giving medical lectures and distributing First Aid kits, thus making a significant contribution to establishing good relations with women from the most disadvantaged areas of Hebron.
