With 42 years of experience from the Norwegian Armed Forces and a long standing interest in the Middle East, Geir Holmenes is well prepared for the task.

— Throughout the years I have followed the events and development in the Middle East. Now, 34 years after my first mission in the region, I am delighted to be back. I hope the knowledge and experiences I have gained will prove useful to TIPH.
