4 April 2011 TIPH attended the reopening ceremony of Al-Mutanabbi School located in Jabal Jawhar in the H2 area.

Al-Mutanabbi is a boy school with 230 pupils located in one of the most deprived areas in Hebron. Since December 2010 TIPH has been partly supporting the renovation of the school by funding the purchase of school equipment and building of an outdoor playground for the pupils.

This project has remarkably improved the educational environment for the pupils and the teachers.

— This school had not been renovated since 1968 and when we arrived to the school the first time we could see endless needs in terms of rehabilitation. After four months, we are happy today to see the impact of this project in the daily life of these children, not to mention the teachers and the parents who have been the driving force behind this project, says TIPH Community Relations Officer Nasrin Hoseini.
