150 Hebronites enjoyed film screening in the Old City

More than 150 Hebronites turned up to enjoy the TIPH-sponsored screening of the documentary “Road to Silverstone” in Friendship Garden, Old City, on Sunday night 14 September. — We are very happy to see so many people gathered in the Old City of Hebron. TIPH welcomes all efforts aimed at revitalizing these parts of the town, says Geir Holmenes, TIPH Head of Mission.

More than 150 Hebronites turned up to enjoy the TIPH-sponsored screening of the documentary “Road to Silverstone” in Friendship Garden, Old City, on Sunday night 14 September.

– We are very happy to see so many people gathered in the Old City of Hebron. TIPH welcomes all efforts aimed at revitalizing these parts of the town, says Geir Holmenes, TIPH Head of Mission.

After the film, the new Head of Mission introduced himself and informed about the mission and its mandate.

– TIPH works at the service of the Palestinian and Israeli authorities, who have invited us here. We observe and report and, in so doing, strive to create a feeling of security to the Palestinians in Hebron.

Before the audience was given opportunity to ask questions a video clip was shown, where the main characters from the Gaza documentary sent their greetings to the Hebronites.
